Outdoor engagement with the families and children (weather permitting)
Family Day Indoor events – Welcome families, give instructions on events happening, assist participants to quiet rooms if required, provide directional and scavenger hunt guidance, etc. Need volunteer Santa(s), elves, princesses, etc for interacting and engaging with families
Other opportunities / roles
Welcome students and teachers on arrival; direct to coat areas in meeting rooms
Help students navigate through the Winter Wonderland and guide through the scavenger hunt
Direct students and teachers to Convention Hall for the luncheon
Luncheon: Help setup the Convention Hall for meal service. Help serve the kids and teachers and help clear and clean the area (approximately 1,160 meals to be served to students and teachers from Regina Community schools)
Direct students and teachers to the theatre for the musical
Direct students and teachers to coats areas and to the main entry for their busses outside
There are other opportunities as there are several other days of Tours of the Winter Wonderland. Volunteers would be required is to tell participants about the event, show them the cookies and beverage station and provide a candy cane as all leave (est. 4 volunteers each tour day and would be 3 hours in the early afternoon or 3 hours early evening).

Ian’s Christmas Lights / Friends of 1D Fundraiser is a worthy fundraiser has a huge impact to people who have been admitted to the 1D ward in the Regina General Hospital.
We are needing volunteers to help with traffic/crowd control at Ian’s Christmas Lights, located 1/2 mile south of McLean SK.

The Red Cross is looking for volunteers to participate in The Friendly Calls Program, a unique initiative that pairs volunteers with senior to help combat feelings of isolation and loneliness. As an approved volunteer you will help those who may be feeling isolated, lonely or could simply benefit from social interaction. By being a volunteer, you can create new bonds, make a friend and acquire an additional skillset.
