The Pioneers and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation with founder, Bill Love, have teamed together to provide a recycling program to benefit diabetic children in Saskatchewan.

Anything Goes - YWCA Regina

The YWCA Regina is looking for used items for their "Anything Goes" Store.   If you, your family or friends are doing house cleaning, please keep the YWCA in mind by donating your "next to new" items that you know you will not use again.   Our store items are accessible to clients, as well as generating additional revenue for our social programs. The "Anything Goes" store primarily sells all household items, baby and toddler clothing and kids toys. We do not have the space to take clothing donations, nor have the ability to store large furniture. When in doubt about what we take, call us.

Grooming Supplies

The Prairie Council Pioneers are seeking donations of hygiene and grooming samples/products for women and children who are victims of abuse. Volunteers from the Regina Customer Care Center are preparing grooming kits on a regular basis to be distributed to the needy in Regina. If you have any unused samples or products that you would like to donate, please drop them in designated collection boxes or call the contacts below for assistance.

Stamps - Stamp Out Leprosy

The SaskTel Pioneers are collecting stamps, and shipping them to the Leprosy mission in Ontario. The Leprosy Mission is 130 years old. You can help "Stamp Out" leprosy by saving all your postage stamps! Read more about it. Any monies realized from the stamps after they have been sold to collectors will be used to pay for education and medicine etc.

Wool

If you have any wool taking up space in your closets, we will gladly turn it into lap robes for seniors. The SaskTel choir visits senior establishments each Christmas and leaves them with a selection of lap robes for their residents. If you are able to donate any wool, please contact Jeannine Nelson.
